WOW!! Talk about hot sexy testosterone on a cracker!! I laughed and I cried and if there isn't a HEA at the end of this series I'm going to be so mad!!!
Absolutely blown away by this series, it has romance, a battle of wills, a man who at first seems to be nothing but the manwhore his Mother called him. And while that's true I came to like him by the end of book two. I regretted Mariss' s suffering but I rejoiced with her triumphant in regaining her will to survive. I look forward to enjoying more of Ms. Kemp' s work.
I read the first book "The Man Without Rules" and had to read the second book in the series. The book made me laugh, cry, get angry, and want more. I do want another book in this series. I must know what's going to happen to Mariss &'Sebastian.
Mariss goes thru so much in this book and yet she has survived it all. Her relationship with Sebastian goes thru it ups & downs.
I absolutely love Sebastian and Mariss. They are so perfect for each other and I love how strong and determined both of them are. Mariss has many struggles and heartbreak throughout this book but she pulls through them all with Sebastian beside her. I can't wait to read the next book The Power Couple to find out the conclusion of their story.
I enjoyed the story and the bits of humanity kemp brings to her characters. The book could have used another round of editing i am looking forward to reading the next adventure
I have only read book one so far. I have read literally thousands of books and never bothered with a review before but this one... This book was a little bit slow and choppy for me at the start not exactly my style. I almost quit it twice but i decided to keep reading and I'm very glad i did. It took awhile but I was completely drawn in and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book is a cliffhanger though...
I was disappointed in Mariss. I never expected more from Sebastian so I wasn't disappointed in the way he acted throughout this book. I was mad at the author for how much she put Mariss in. The deaths that littered this book was appalling. there was more spelling issues and words that should not have been in it like eatable (edible). overall I was starting to wane away from the book because this wasn't as good as the first.
